TYPICAL STONE COTTAGE of the Ribeira Sacra area of Spain, restored by craftspeople with respect for traditional features, the environment and natural materials.
CRAFT - We have sought out hand-embroidered sheets, local earthenware pottery, traditional Spanish willow furniture and carnival folk art for the cottage interior. We have added baskets and textiles made by us to give the cottage a unique craft touch. As local craftspeople ourselves we are happy to advise you about where to see and buy local craft and show you our own basketry and weaving workshops.
INFORMATION - You will find books, maps, and information written by us in English with suggestions for days out, where to eat out etc..
BINOCULARS, WALKING ROUTES AND NATURE BOOKS - The area offers good walking with stunning views and plenty of wild flowers, butterflies, insects and birds. We provide you with everything you need to enjoy it with walking routes starting from the cottage which have been tried and tested by us.
